She was being blackmailed over explicit photos. She went to police and gave them the photos as evidence. The cop kept the pictures on his phone, showed them to others, and didn’t catch the blackmailer- who ended up killing her. Just enraging. I wonder why victims of sex crimes don’t report 🤔🤬😢

I don't know how often I have to say this: It is not about the amount of food grown, we already grow enough to feed the world, it is about people's access to that food that causes famine and hunger. As long as it is profitable to keep people starving, this will not help.

This is all anyone needs to know about Rahm Emanuel:
Chicago-area protestor circa 2012 carrying a sign saying "Rahm Emanuel likes Nickleback."

Referring to, of course, the third-worst band of the 15-year period from 1990-2005. Second being Limp Kizkit, and first being Oasis, obviously.

Whenever you see a pollster or consultant give a take like this, it’s always worth following the money. In this case, Emanuel has paid Anzalone’s firm nearly $300k (maybe more but that’s what I found so far). A consultant class is devouring the Dem Party www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisc...

Underestimate @RahmEmanuel at your own risk.
He knows how to win. He knows how to fight.
And he knows how to message.
And no one will out work him. Regardless of whether he wins the Democratic nomination in 2028 he will make an impact on the race. You can be sure of that. Don't take your eyes off of him. At the minimum, learn from him.

Not a fan of Bokeh, I must admit. I've only rarely seen photos that are enhanced by it, and that's usually accompanied by real artistic intent behind the composition. Moreover, it's awful to have shallow depth-of-field in film most of the time. I find it lazy and disorienting.

“She’d been told grim things about Jews when she was a kid, by her Hungarian grandfather, but never like this, from someone her age.” Family “wisdom” like this is one of the key ways fascistic ideas transfer from generation to generation like a rhizome. Fuentes’s message fell on fertile ground.
