We don’t spend enough time talking about just how WEIRD all these people are. This is just an incredibly weird and insecure thing to say. Imagine any other SecDef ever being this weird and insecure?!

Somehow worried yet not while reading Ed's take on all of this. Pointing out the obvious that the media (well, most MSM) no longer can bother to try to interrogate claims. It's just take the story and move on. And that's why people are media illiterate and fast to take something at face value.

I don't understand anyone who continues to make this argument. No one is being impacted by trans athletes anywhere right now. Please shut up with this non-issue.

Yesterday showed that true investigative journalism still can exist, and the rich and powerful can still be held to account. @pablotorrefindsout.bsky.social feels like a fever dream for journalism nerds, so the fact that all of this is real is so so beautiful. www.youtube.com/live/ENBv21u...

All of these cases are basically litmus tests for any Dem nominee. Are immigrants Americans? Do trans Americans deserve human rights? Are corporations superhumans who get to spend endlessly on elections to put whoever they want into power? These are simple questions with simple answers.

tired of the "#1 dad" nonsense. if you're a dad, stop treating it like a joke and post your actual national dad ranking. i'm # 492,018, which is actually really high up there, but more importantly it lets me enter ranked dad lobbies where i can get matched up for fistfights with dads of my caliber

@taniel.bsky.social I know you don't live/die by polling at Bolts, but wondering if your team or anyone has seen any actual polling on the SAVE America Act. I keep seeing this "80% approval!" but it's either White House or Heritage accounts purporting that. Feels like BS, for obvious reasons.

One more comment on the Post debacle: this hurts journalism broadly. Good journalists will go do something else. The rest will be fighting for fewer jobs and everyone will earn less. Fewer people will take up the career. The damage done is to the ecosystem, as well as the paper.

Exactly right. Bovino's leaving? Great, get Noem to resign. Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE. Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them. Every possible angle.

So on Epstein, the Democratic position should be "Trump should resign." If you are a Democratic elected, practice saying "We demand the president's resignation" in front of a mirror as many times as it takes until the dry-heaving that comes from having a phobia about actually doing politics passes.
