I want my kids to actually learn how to do things, and I’m extremely dubious there is any application of AI they could use that would help them instead of learning things by just doing them. AI is being pushed hardest by some of the worst people in America and that oughta be a red flag

I saw a teenager exit a late model BMW with aftermarket features near the local high school a couple weeks ago, and though "that's an expensive car for a teenager". Two days later I saw the same car tear down my 25 MPH residential block at 40 MPH. But e-bikes are the problem.

I'll leave this guy's mentions alone but it is interesting how if an individual cyclist does something stupid all cyclists become responsible for it, but if an individual driver does something stupid it's just the one irresponsible motorist and doesn't indict all motorists.

RIP my mentions, but: To the biker who flew down the bike lane and nearly crashed into my daughters as they were exiting a school bus with its lights on yesterday -- you realize that this is why bikers don't always have the most sympathetic reputation, right?

I'm assuming you saw two people cross the street after they judged it was safe to cross, even if technically not legal. People in cars ignoring traffic signals is far more dangerous to pedestrians and far more common.
