To be more accurate, we _were_ going to try to find a way to integrate blockchain tech into the game in a non toxic fashion, if it meant keeping the lights on. We were just never given access to the Forte SDK. Make of that what you will.

But no matter how broken it is, all the literature I've seen is that it should be equivalent at worst thanks to Fullscreen Optimization. And my rendering hat wants to agree, but I haven't seen an actual counter example to justify the decision.

Might I ask which game that was? I'm currently hesitating whether I should even spend the effort trying to get exclusive fullscreen to work at all in our title. (We're currently considering removing the option altogether, Vulkan fullscreen is literally broken in Unreal 5.5!)

We somehow had everything available to clear out the tunnel in one run after finishing the crate removal. Except that blue door. Had to look up spoilers to progress past it, but all I’ll say is if you have other leads to explore, they may well converge towards the blue door.
