I need to make a big piece of Erin art with giant honking text saying "yes it gets better stop posting to ask if it gets better"

I try to have two WIPs going on at any given time, but my iPad fucked up an update and it's likely all my Procreate art is gone forever. Here's the two pieces that were in progress and have had many hours of refinement since then. Unlikely I'll go back to these now.

unfinished digital charcoal drawing of sphene from ff14

unfinished painting depicting ryoka, tyrion, and several unnamed nobles gasping at the sudden appearance of the fae at a banquet.

Is there a way to recover all my files from my iPad after an update fucks up, but before I do a factory reset? Because I think all my Procreate art is at danger of being gone forever

Human artists! Use one piece only to convince people to follow you! 🩸

Hey all! Today, The Wandering Inn (@thewanderinginn.bsky.social) celebrates its physical release, and I'm making a thread of the fanart I've done over the years, to gush about why I made these pieces, and hopefully, along the way, convince you to read it. Yes, YOU.

Colorful portrait of the main character, Erin Solstice, a young woman with chestnut-colored hair. Vividly colored fire swirls around her head.

Beorn's Hospitality MtG: the Hobbit, AD: Colin Boyer. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to paint Beorn, I love that big grumpy vegetarian guy and his animal friends 💚 I'll add some close-ups (as well as the card) below, so you can look at the details and approve of Bilbo's sense of priorities!

lmao every single comment he reads out about FF14 sounds EXACTLY like the reddit discourse about The Wandering Inn. The two really are similar in so many ways, but I guess most people only have room for one forever-media in their lives...

A story I love about Anthony Stewart Head. Thank you to this person for sharing it on Tumblr. What a mensch.

A photo of Tony Head with a fan, standing in a barn near a horse. Tumblr post from dracofidus: If you EVER think Anthony Head is anything less than an angel then you'd best remember that I have always been a huge fan of his and we've always had a little contact over the years and he heard I'd come out as Trans and was having a hard time and that I was kind of sad that the photos I had from conventions with him were of me with long hair and no binder and they were all signed to "Sarah" and so he invited me to spend the day with him at his farm and he picked me up from the station and we just hung out and had lunch and he insisted on paying and look loads of photos and had them printed on photo paper the same day so he could sign them to Jay, along with other photos of him as Giles and Utger and he literally spent five hours chatting with me and got all the pronoun stuff right every time and then he dropped me off at the station, gave me a massive hug. Waved me through the ticket barrier and insisted I message him when I got home so he knew I was back safe.

After a long painting break for learning purposes, here is another Wandering Inn painting to break my inactivity. because it's cooler to like things than hate on them and boy oh boy for some reason people who hate TWI really don't want to let you forget it

The main character of The Wandering Inn, Erin Solstice, seen from behind, dancing with the goblin shaman Ulvama, seen from front, in a dark club-like atmosphere.

Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not

A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live.

"This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. We hope this small gesture of kindness will ease the pain as humanity prepares for a worst-case scenario."

The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.

A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

PlayStation Nation: "What the fuck are you doing falsely advertising sales during these trying times? I went to the website and Mario Kart World is still selling for $80 USD."

Kremling Kevin: "If you actually read the statement, it clearly says the discount is available on Nintendo eShop. Meaning the application on the Switch 2 itself, not the web browser version."

PlayStation Nation: "Point still stands."

A fabricated Tweet responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

Isaboner: "Nothing for Switch 1 owners?"

I've emerged from my Blender hole with my first try at 3d models+paintovers. I've actually been using Blender for a while now for lighting ref, but with premade assets--and I wouldn't paint over other people's models. But everything here is sculpted by myself, so now I'm allowed!

Every time someone says she has no character development, or just dismisses the story entirely, I make a painting like this out of spite. "That'll show you!" I say to myself, not understanding entirely how I'm teaching anyone a lesson by making this. Also: sympathy for goblins is NOT her big flaw

It pains me whenever a well-known reviewer gives up after a few chapters and then makes a video to laugh about how bad it is. I have much longer thoughts, but all I can say in 300 chars is that I hope, in some small way, my art somehow can help prove it's actually very good. (how? dunno. but it is!)

O brave new world! First project for my SmArt School class with Cynthia Sheppard. Any idea what's happening here? Maybe the quote already gave it away.

An illustration of an old robed man blowing onto his cane. Magic pours out of it and into the sky, carrying upon it the visible figures of a stout bearded man, a young couple, and a man holding a skull. The old man rides upon a boat carrying a multitude of items, such as a crown, a cauldron, and a tree branch. Below the boat is the curvature of the earth, glowing blue as blue streaks of light fall upon it.

Hi #portfolioday! I'm Julie Dillon, and I'm a freelance artist working mostly on MtG cards and book covers. Here are a few personal paintings I've done in the past year. :)

A large ocean wave is about to overtake a bedraggled man in a weathered rowboat. He looks distressed about this, knowing he's not going to be able to get clear of the wave in time.

A rusalka possessively embraces a man she's pulled under water in a pond; he doesn't appear to be struggling against her very much.

We peer through ornate curtains at a king kneeling before a man in armor who stands before him. The king gazes up at the knight and is in the process of shrugging out of his ornate robes, which trail behind him. The knight cradles the king's face in one hand, and the king has a hand on the knight's armored leg.

A medusa in gold jewelry with gold rattlesnakes for hair, clutching the stone head of a king and breaking it to pieces while making intense eye contact with the viewer.
