Basil is nonbinary but mostly bc they fanta a lot (hence the disguise emoji). He has a few different "personas" he returns to for different purposes. Basil is not her real name & no one knows who she actually is. I usually use "she" for Basil since that's the persona she meets Mikh'a with.

I put them in order of roughly when Mikh'a meets them. Azaria and Dom are the newest so they have the least amount of lore, which is why their emojis seem kind of basic 😅 Mercy/Azaria/Sana join the Scions pre-SHB, Libra "joins" post-EW, Basil is Mikh'a's personal retainer. Dom is Team Rocket.

I also remember some event (maybe a birthday party?) that involved laser tag and I was too scared to participate so they shut the whole thing down and turned on the lights and gave us a tour to show us how it worked. Easily one of the coolest things adults ever did for me as a kid

This is part of what I'm referring to with many people demanding stories that reassure them they're a good person. They want the moral instruction because otherwise, rather than processing the reading experience, there's a thrum of "am I bad? am I bad? what if someone finds out I'm bad?"
