I found out around 2pm that Saint Dolly had passed. I had a work meeting at 2:30pm and tried to clean myself up. I failed, as my teammate and I logged onto the call, and I still didn't have my 'office' mask back on... "What's wrong?!" "...Dolly Parton died." The meeting was cancelled. Immediately.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.

PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.
