STRONG BAD: Aaaaand another thing. Why does he say he slides WITH his dog? Sliding and having a dog are two, separate, gameplay elements.
STRONG MAD: WHAAAAT ABOOOOUT THE RUSH ARMOOOOORRRRR
![Panel 1
WANDA: Better he should burn and be thrown in the trash than increase the surplus popcorn…
BILL: Thanks, Ebenezer Boobs.
WANDA: Now, where’s that lever…
Panel 2
BILL: Oh no, guys, she’s gonna pull a big cartoon lever! That’s never good!
DAVE: Well, hang on, we’re IN a cartoon! It could be a normal lever for all we know! Maybe it turns the AC on!
BILL: What? We’re not in a cartoon. We’re still images on a page.
Panels ???
[WANDA locates and pulls the big cartoon lever and THE BOYS fall through a trap door into a pipe and through a series of floors/rooms like when people in cartoons go down drains. BILL and DAVE continue to argue as they go through the pipe.]
A
DAVE: Hold on, you’re saying this can’t be a cartoon because it’s not animated?
BILL: I mean, you don’t say “I’m gonna go read some cartoons,” do you? You say you’re gonna WATCH cartoons.
B
DAVE: What about political cartoons? Those don’t move.
BILL: Oh, the lowest form of art? The political cartoon? That’s the bedrock of your argument?
C
DAVE: Wow, okay buddy, political cartoons are not INHERENTLY bad art–
BILL: Name one political cartoonist who makes good, funny work. A single one who made you laugh.
D
DAVE: Easy. Kelly from The Onion.
BILL: He’s–he’s SATIRIZING political cartoons, man! His are funny because they normally suck on ice!
E
DAVE: We’re–you’re losing the plot. You said cartoons have to move, not that they have to be funny!
BILL: WELL MAYBE I THINK THEY SHOULD DO BOTH, DAVE, WITH “MOVE” BEING THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THEY DO!
F
DAVE: “CARTOON” IS A CENTURIES-OLD WORD REFERRING TO THE PAPER ARTISTS WOULD SKETCH ON! ANIMATION IS BARELY A CENTURY OLD!
Last Panel
[THE BOYS land in their theater seats. BILL and DAVE don’t immediately notice.]
BILL: TIMES CHANGE! COMICS ARE STILL, CARTOONS MOVE, POLITICAL CARTOONS ARE NEVER FUNNY, AND oh hey we’re in the theater.
COLONEL: I hate when Mom and Dad fight.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:z4llsx425l4htoylyyx6iam3/bafkreifvn52yytwevgajugrlrhc7yxwziopuyg4eak42fhpicbfqwnf6si)
