There's a lot of anti-Blackness and antisemitism being pushed by DSA leaders, candidates, and supporters that needs to be addressed. If left unchecked, it will alienate Black and Jewish voters. From what I've read this is one of the things that concern "establishment" Democrats.

I'm also wary of describing those results as a seismic shift in Democratic politics. AOC, and Ritchie Torres won her primary in the same state without the DSA label. I'm willing to wait to see how this plays out nationally before making any declarations one way or the other.

The example that always sticks out to me is housing. I studied housing policy for years; it’s complicated and hard. But we don’t want politicians who know anything how housing works, anymore. We want politicians who will say code phrases: “housing is a human right,” “social housing,” etc.
