Holters aren't anywhere near that big, and you'd sling it off to your side or back anyways; you wouldn't see anything on the front as it's just leads and pads. No clue what it is under his clothes, but the stuff under the coat could plausibly be a Kevlar vest as my best guess.

As such, I would still hazard there isn't an existing presence gap in which an LVAD (MICS or not) could have been completed without being noticed post-op.

C to the JB @cjb.jbactee.com · 17/08/2026
MICS? There isn't a huge difference in recovery times identified. Roughly 8.3 days in the ICU vs 6.3 days in the ICU with MICS. *If* there is even a difference (two studies found centers likely established and competent for MICS saw no difference in ICU time). pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...
ICU length of stay: Most studies showed shorter ICU stay for MICS patients. Jawad [27] and Ayers [36] reported reduced ICU days. In Sun [37] and Gosev [38], the difference was not significant, especially in centers with high surgical volume and established MICS protocols.

Extremely unlikely that seven days would be sufficiently long.
• Most patients are in the ICU for 4-5 days after your LVAD implant depending on the pace of your recovery
• You will have a procedure called an echocardiogram to evaluate how your heart and LVAD are working together
You will continue to be monitored very closely while you awaken from surgery. Once you are awake and able to breathe on your own, the breathing tube will be removed.
Depending on the pace of recovery, patients typically remain in the ICU for four to five days while intravenous medications are weaned. During the ICU stay multiple tests are performed including laboratory testing, echocardiograms and chest X-rays. Physical and occupational therapists as well as a dietician will begin working closely with you throughout your recovery.
You will be transferre to the Intermediate IC to continue recovery. On average patients remain in the hospital for 14
- 21 days after LVAD implantation. During this time you and your caregivers will begin learniny about your new device.
Members of your LVAD team will help you understand:

The OpenAI Hack Shows the Genie Is Out of the Bottle
This essay originally appeared in Foreign Policy. Earlier this month, two of OpenAI's models broke out of their containment sandbox and attacked another AI company. The story is kind of wild. OpenAI was running security tests on two of its models: GPT-5.6 Sol and an unreleased model that is almost certainly GPT-6. In particular, it was running the…

I could be wrong, but based upon the Trump team's prior support for the Tates (which caught blowback on the right), I doubt the U.S. Marshals Service (part of DOJ) would have arrested them if Todd Blanche believed Trump would order them freed.

Republicans often follow the party's messaging instructions to the letter -- check out how similar all the tweets about Mamdani's AC note, for instance -- but in some cases it becomes really, really obvious they're following a script.

In the well-over 100,000 documents written by founders included in the Founders Online database from the National Archives, no one uses the phrase "God's noble experiment." No one.
Chuck Schumer: "The founding fathers called America God's noble experiment. I believe in all three words to this day: we are one nation under God, we have clung to noble ideals for longer than any other nation, and we are an experiment always changing, trying to make ourselves better.
