Currently vibe coding, but if vibe coding was making coffee in your favourite mug, putting on your favourite chill album and turning off the big light while the birds chirp outside. Channeling REAL vibes.

Absolutely blessed to have seen Raye last night. Genuinely might have been the best gig I've ever seen. She and her band are STUPIDLY talented. #Raye

Paying homage to @coollike.gay 's P4A segment however by only using the BEST ingredient and 100% less mushy peas. Would recommend. We're counting down to the end of P4A now! Time to smash last year's figure! 🦒 #P4A #ProjectForAwesome

Spent the day converting my control mappings to be single inputs only! It was previously clunky and less accessible with a series of dual button presses, taps and holds. Now though, much cleaner, easier to understand, and navigable with single, slower interactions. Success!

I tried Gleam for Advent of Code, and I get the hype. AoC was only 12 days this year (24 parts). The easy days were tougher than usual, the hard days were hard but fun. Rust-like compiler errors, pipes everywhere, echo is great, fold_until feels like cheating. blog.tymscar.com/posts/gleama...

I Tried Gleam for Advent of Code, and I Get the Hype
A 12 day Advent of Code year convinced me Gleam is the real deal, thanks to Rust-like errors, great pipes, and surprisingly ergonomic FP.

This is a super cool extension of it! Do they get quite a pronounced effect in your halls? Hopefully, we're gonna get students to collect impulse responses around campus for making their own convolution reverb profiles which will be fun!

That's effectively what we're getting up to! The speaker is playing a sinusoidal tone, and the two microphones are picking up the signal, albeit one with reversed phase. When you then combine the 2 signals in the control room, you can solo them to listen in, or combine them to thin out the sound!

1 good mic is great for getting things going! I'd be using 2 mics for stuff like the following: -Recording in stereo -Recording live performances with instrument/singer (such as guitar and voice) -recording instruments with wide frequency ranges (such as a mic for a guitar's body and neck)

Luke @citesandsounds.com · 11/12/2025
I do! (albeit in small amounts, I'm more on the game audio/programming/HCI side!) In this case, we're demonstrating phase cancellation with two C414s using figure 8 polar patterns but with one rotated (thus reverse phase) The result is beautiful deconstructive interference and a thinner sound!
