Dice trackers inspired by the 3D printable lap and gate tracker (by @cariwatterton.bsky.social) for Rebellion Unplugged's board game Joyride! Compact trackers to securely hold dice, with labels in Braille (or visually readable text) so anyone can keep them apart. www.printables.com/model/117464...
Two 3D printed dice trackers, each with space for a six sided die and a low flat label in front of the die. On the labels gate and lap is printed in Braille. The dice in the trackers are: a clear one with gold glitter and a metal Braille die from the DOTS RPG Project. Two 3D printed dice trackers, each with space for a six sided die and a low flat label in front of the die. This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm. The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him. Happy Black History Month.

This video was three years in the making. It would mean a lot if you checked it out. I’ve been working with the team at #CallOfDuty to help make #BlackOps6 accessible. It’s got a long way to go but this is the first step in a long process. youtu.be/iIKHoBxewag

Reviewing Stories of Blossom was an absolute delight. It truly shows the dedication to accessibility from the start. Compliments to Soft Leaf Studios! I felt it ticks all of the necessary boxes and then some, with only a few issues I expect may be fixed with a future update.

I'm doing an accessibility panel at EGX this year with the amazing Little MoTAC, The Wobbly Gamer, and my colleagues Adriaan and Edd! Excited for an awesome cast talking about advocacy and accessibility at Rebellion and beyond 🥳
A promotional image for EGX, advertising an Accessibility at Rebellion Panel. At the top on a navy blue background are headshots of the panelists with names and titles: The Wobbly Gamer, Streamer & Consultant, Little MoTAC, Content Creator, Cari Watterton, Accessibility Designer, Edd Waterhouse-Biggins, Game Designer, and Adriaan Scheepers, UI Designer. The Accessibility in Gaming icon is next to them. Below this panel is a white panel with navy text, reading "EGX, Accessibility at Rebellion Panel, Thursday 12th October, 2.30pm-3.15pm." To the right in a pink box is the location "Careers Fair Stage", below is the EGX logo and dates "12-15 Oct 2023, Excel London".

Sea of Thieves will soon include a new accessibility feature called Aim Assist Audio. This aim assist, using a clicking sound, will help blind players independently use their guns, adding to the already impressive accessibility of Sea Of Thieves.

Sea of Thieves continues to grow accessibility. This is really a great effort to improve over the long term. It is rare for developers to provide this level of support for accessibility in an ongoing game. This should be the example for all devs of how to improve over time. Great job

After many years of waiting, #SeaOfThieves introduction of aim assist audio cues means that I can finally snipe skeletons from a ship, without assistance to find my target! Here's a demo from a test voyage I went on with some regular crewmates: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQQe... #Accessibility

Sadly another year, where a potential "game of the year" did not prioritise accessibility. I love #BaldursGate3 a lot. But for a lot of disabled players, it's another game they have to struggle to play. My review: youtu.be/_siz72wI03A
The artwork of Baldur's Gate 3 shows the main companion characters you can have in the game against a cloudy dark sky with dragons and tentacle-like ship creatures flying in the sky. The Baldur's Gate 3 logo is on the top right with the text accessibility review so far.

Mortal Kombat 1 announced they are partnering with Brandon Cole and BlindFGC_Rattlehead on sightless #Accessibility, truly a great sign for WB Games. Embrace accessibility!
Screenshot of a post from Brandon Cole : It's true! I'm insanely honored to co-announce this project. A couple of champions, the perfect ones for the job, worked together to make MK1 as accessible as possible. But to me, this is Rattlehead's show. Congratulations to him on busting into full consultation with a bang! Post continues with an embedded post from BlindFgc_Rattlehead : Hello everyone!
I would like to officially announce that @superblindman and I are Accessibility consultants for the highly anticipated upcoming game, Mortal Kombat 1 developed by @NetherRealm Studios!
@BonjourChat87 and @MistyRayburn were there to support as well!
