3.) A theme for everyone We currently have five mobile-friendly skins for the forum, including the original 2011 "Oldbris" skin and the 2012 "Newbris" skin, as well as an entirely new 2026 "Tribris" skin. There are more skins than these, and perhaps more yet to be added! (6/12)

Part of the thing about the Records of the Other Side Mythos that makes it so meaningful to me is just how hard my friends and I have all had to work to make these series happen.

If I wrote a biography about just how much shit Sealtoast, the other cast members of this Mythos and I have had to go through in the process of making all these series happen, it would be one of the most insane fucking nonfiction books about collaborative unfictions/ARGs you've read in your entire life. Physical damnations of misfortune so unbelievable you'd think I was faking, broken friendships, sepsis, legal troubles, mental woes of all kinds, lost props, destroyed settings/setpieces, hauntings, corrupted hard-drives, broken electronics, death threats, the depreciation of Hitfilm Pro, deceptions, a photoshopped image of a man making love with a praying mantis, shit that just would and does sound absolutely false in every sense of the word.

This multiversal Mythos exists in spite of everything I have just named.

For over a decade, this Mythos has been building up to the final act we're seeing now.
The culmination of incalculable effort.

Because we love these series more than anyone could ever hope to hate them, and I think that's beautiful.

Witness the fruit of those efforts. Watch these series. Let them receive the love they deserve.

The sample size I'm viewing isn't exactly the biggest, but I suspect this might occur a bit more in unfiction spaces than others. Ben Drowned, for example. Massive amounts of fanworks that indicate no contact with the source material beyond "dead kid haunts game". Word passed around by mouth.
