I'm consistently blown away by each new TYBW episode. Three episodes in a row with nearly entirely new content, HEAVY expansion on what WAS in the manga, every problem with the ending is being addressed and fixed. Kubo has me by the neck. Please, PLEASE, GIVE MY BOY CHAD A W AND IT'S PEAK OF PEAK.

Ever heard of FRLG.IPS? It's taken over my brain lately. A completely normal FireRed romhack! I'm so normal about it, I'm starting a text-based Let's Play. (Spoiler alert: it's not normal, and something is terribly, terribly wrong.) withinhubris.com/forum/viewto...

NEXT SATURDAY AT 5PM CST! I will be taking Laches through the horrors, joys + madnesses of the Records of the Other Side Mythos on stream. I'll be answering a few questions, and we'll be casually watching a selection of videos from Recollect, Solstice + Eulacram/Soursalt. www.twitch.tv/justlaches

In which streamer Laches takes a trip through the Records of the Other Side Mythos (w/ commentary from Penthepoet, a member of the RotOS dev team).

To the left is an image of Laches' streamer icon (a green TV), with his username, JustLaches. To the right is my familiar GHOST icon, black and white with a smile, from Pokémon.

Underneath says "July 25th, 2026, starts at 5pm CST, https://www.twitch.tv/justlaches".

All this is overlaid over an image from Recollect Faterunners — the shot of Hamus from The World Ender.

Welp, remember to always set up recovery emails for your accounts. Lost access to a Google Drive with a bunch of archived community stuff! All of it (to my knowledge) does exist on a hard drive of mine, but uploading it all again on a new account is going to be inconvenient at best.

On Sunday, July 5th, I am going to drink and rank as many different brands and flavors of lemonade as I can find, live at moonshot.mov. I will also pour each one into a drink dispenser to create a Franken-ade. Every $20 paid to Moonshot's Ko-Fi will make me sip of my terrible creation. Be there.

A picture of Marn riding a bottle of Calypso Blue Lemonade as it flies through the air. Text reads:

Marn is going to drink an unwise amount of lemonade on July fifth at moonshot.mov

a post about the these wacky horror mythos my friends and I make existing in spite of the most wild shit [excerpt from the series thread i have on Within Hubris at withinhubris.com/forum/viewto... ] [ playlist link at www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbRsL_GsEc_sETe7XNGGg6KO3Lfhnkb9x ]

Part of the thing about the Records of the Other Side Mythos that makes it so meaningful to me is just how hard my friends and I have all had to work to make these series happen.

If I wrote a biography about just how much shit Sealtoast, the other cast members of this Mythos and I have had to go through in the process of making all these series happen, it would be one of the most insane fucking nonfiction books about collaborative unfictions/ARGs you've read in your entire life. Physical damnations of misfortune so unbelievable you'd think I was faking, broken friendships, sepsis, legal troubles, mental woes of all kinds, lost props, destroyed settings/setpieces, hauntings, corrupted hard-drives, broken electronics, death threats, the depreciation of Hitfilm Pro, deceptions, a photoshopped image of a man making love with a praying mantis, shit that just would and does sound absolutely false in every sense of the word.

This multiversal Mythos exists in spite of everything I have just named.

For over a decade, this Mythos has been building up to the final act we're seeing now.
The culmination of incalculable effort.

Because we love these series more than anyone could ever hope to hate them, and I think that's beautiful.

Witness the fruit of those efforts. Watch these series. Let them receive the love they deserve.
