One sheet poster for LADY FRANKENSTEIN in which--for no good reason--the title character is presented as a blonde with a beehive hairdo. One sheet poster for VALENTINA THE VIRGIN WIFE, in which married virgin Edwige Fenich cannot arouse her new husband because of his Oedipus complex. It's a comedy!

Cort always had a special childlike quality that came across in many of his roles. Though he was nothing like my real dad, I always imagined that if they ever made a movie about my life, he'd get that role (with Kim Darby as my mom). I feel like he was too idiosyncratic to ever hold onto stardom--

I'm pretty sure if you made a movie where someone walked up to a random woman in a vehicle, antagonized her, shot her in the face and then called her a "fucking bitch" as her car careened uncontrollably in a residential neighbourhood, they would be the one the hero is fighting against.

Because no one asked, here's my Top 5 Albums of 2025. 5. Lorde "Virgin"
Album cover for "Virgin" by Lorde5. Lorde “Virgin”
Lorde has been cursed with the fact that her second and best album both undersold and is the greatest pop album to be released this century, which has made its two follow ups seem like disappointments despite them both having moments as good or even better than the first album that made her a star. If anything, “Virgin”’s main issue is its brevity. At 35 minutes, it’s over too soon and too abruptly. But that’s a good problem. It’s better to make us want more than over stay your welcome. Like “Solar Power” before it, it takes a few listens to fully embrace, but once you understand what Ella is trying to do, you can’t help but love and admire how she does it (and the fact that she even exists in the first place).

8 years ago, I did a whole series of "Sad Grown-Up Kevin McCallister" tweets and no one else liked them but I still think they rank among the best things I've ever written.
Kevin McCallister looks at the picture of his penis he has just taken. He has no one to send it to and he's been banned from Twitter and most dating apps. So, he just enjoys it for himself.

Kevin McCallister sees that ANGELS WITH FILTHY SOULS is now on iTunes, but he doesn't rent or buy it. He just likes to scroll through the titles and remember back to a time when he didn't want to die.ven though he has nowhere to go and no one to see, Kevin McCallister slaps a bracing aftershave onto his face.

He feels nothing.

He doesn't know if he can feel anything anymore.

Kevin McCallister dips his brush into the paint as he starts on the second coat. As he works, a dreamy faraway look appears in his eyes.

"What's up with you?" asks Hector, his foreman.

"Nothin'," Kevin lies. "Nothing at all."Kevin McCallister has nine Twitter followers. He doesn't know that seven of them are bots. The other two are cousins who muted him immediately after they followed him back.

He has tweeted 74.652 times since he started his account in 2015.

"I met Trump once," Kevin McCallister tells the woman on his computer. "Good guy. I'd vote for him again. Don't care what those libtards say."

"You only got another two minutes," she says. "Are you going to jack off or what?"

"Do you have a pillow? I have a thing for feathers."Kevin McCallister sits in his apartment on Christmas Eve, waiting for his pizza (only cheese) to arrive.

He checks his phone. No one has responded to his texts. There are no notifications from Facebook.

He is alone.

But this time he has no one to blame but himself.
