The new season of TASKMASTER is really justifying the fact that I've had a crush on Nina Conti ever since I first saw Nina Conti. Yes, I have imagined what a night with her and Shari Lewis would have been like and I am not ashamed to admit it.

British ventriloquist Nina Conti sits in-between Little Britain's Matt Lucas and The IT Crowd's Richard Ayoarde on the 5th episode of the 22nd season of Taskmaster. Conti is dressed in a mod-ish mid-length flowery dress with gorgeous knee-length white boots.

In fairness to the asshole I'm seeing people dunking on, conventional wisdom amongst experts is that firing squads actually are the most humane way to execute prisoners. The other methods are actually more extended/painful but "lethal injection" polls better than "firing squad".

Gonna put on my brag hat on because I saw this the day it aired. Which is surprising because I would have been 9 (or 10 if it aired in the six days between my birthday and Halloween) and I avoided horror (despite being fascinated by it) for nightmare reasons.

Remember this is the exact same channel that did a segment where a woman called Fred Rogers, "...an evil, evil man...." for the crime of encouraging all children to feel special for being themselves.

This is my lived reality too. Every time I've gone to the U.S. I've hung out with people I've met online. In NYC, one of them actually let me stay in her apartment even though she was out of town at the time. And when I told that to Canadian customs, they searched my bag for drugs. :)

I will give SKYFALL credit because so far its action set pieces have all been the right amount of long. Unlike CASINO ROYALE where every single one was 5 minutes too long.

I do enjoy scenes set in subway systems I’ve ridden in the past. So, mostly London and NYC.

I have seen the scene where he does actually die in the last movie. It's great. I'd watch a whole movie that was nothing but scenes of James Bond being killed. Like EDGE OF TOMORROW without the happy ending.

My employer observes Truth & Reconciliation Day (even though it's not a recognized holiday in Alberta because Danielle Smith is an evil racist), so after a quiet day off I am now feeling ready to jump back into the Craig Bonds with my first ever viewing of the one I think people like the best?

The scariest part of being 50 is realizing how many people your age have spent their life just existing. Not learning, not evolving, not growing, not improving. Just staying exactly the same as they've always been. I'm not saying I'm a model for self-improvement, but I still find that disturbing.
