Thank goodness. Shortly after Jan 6, we were in DC. We saw Michael Fanone at Farmers and Distillers, I think being interviewed. I was overcome with feelings. So glad he survived, so sorry for what he endured. I left him alone but part of me wishes I had approached him with solidarity. wish I had.

Put another way: In 2025, the benchmark Silver plan cost this couple 8.5% of their gross annual income in premiums. In 2026, due to Republicans allowing the improved ACA tax credits to expire, this jumped to 36% of their income. In 2027 they'd have to pay over 42% of their income. 😳

This whole awful story is triggering and quite common in my experience. I went through similar shit in 1984. Narcissists are ageless. This terribly sad reality will be on repeat ad infinitum. I haven’t spent time thinking about my horrible divorce and custody experience in years. I’m so sorry ❤️
