The Good Wife is maybe the most underrated of all these. The last great 20+ episode drama. Week after week of fun, inventive stories in a usually formulaic genre. The Kings are great writers. The Americans was close too, but it really drags for stretches. Justified did too, but I love it more.

I had the same gut reaction and then realized I had no good reasoning behind it. I think it’s rooted in being an Xer. Old notions of propriety and what not. Everyone carries beverages now and you’d just be disqualifying normal people for no reason.
