This is what oil trapped at Hormuz looks like. Hundreds of ships are stuck or waiting. This is real footage. The war with Iran has disrupted a key global oil route. Yet Trump blames Zelenskyy and Ukraine’s strikes on Russian refineries for the diesel squeeze.

Russia has no chance of advancing any further on the ground in Ukraine. That is why it has focused on destabilizing Ukraine and Europe from within and intensified its terror from the air. Russia has also poured enormous amounts of money into information warfare: fakes, bots, and fabricated news.

Yandex Pay had to come out with a statement after many Russians said they couldn’t access their money. Yandex Bank is also unresponsive after the Ukrainian strike on three data centres.
< Press releases
We continue to restore Yandex Pay.
October 11, 2026
Hi everyone, I'm Dima Pirogov, and I head Yandex's fintech division.
This morning, another Yandex data center, home to our services, was damaged. Because of this, many of you are stilli unable to check your balance, pay for purchases, or transfer money.
First things first: all your money is safe. The money itself isn't stored in a data center. That's where the servers that power the services are located. Records for each account are stored in multiple copies across multiple locations. We've verified their integrity: not a single record was lost.
Im very sorry I can't tell you yet that everything is working again. The team is continuing to restore services and is checking every step. When it comes to your money, it's important to us not only to restore Yandex Pay as quickly as possible, but also to ensure everything is working reliably.
I understand that you're not waiting for words, but for access to your money. And I understand how hard it is to wait when you can't use it. We can't yet give you a precise restoration timeline, but we promise: we won't stop until the service is restored.
Thank you to everyone who's been waiting, supporting us, and writing kind words. And we're sorry for making you worry. We really appreciate you staying with us, even during such a difficult time. We'll get back to you with news as soon as we can.

Russian missiles are attacking Kyiv. Trump thanks Putin for the deal. Buying Russian diesel will not solve the US fuel problems. It is at most a short-term psychological tactic aimed at easing gas station prices ahead of the elections. The main beneficiary of this deal is Russia.
