My third time seeing Maddie Ashman this year and the best. A three act set list opening with the noisy tunes, heading into the quieter microtonal corner then ending with more song based compositions. Each phase was a delight. Support from Imogen & The Knife. #chopsgigs #maddieashman #icalondon

La Vuelta has been so much fun to watch this year. I’m really happy for Enric Mas & Movistar, they’ve both had some lean years, lovely to see them claim their home GT.

Just seen that graffiti artist Helch has passed away at 34. I was initially annoyed about the loss of the Give Peas A Chance on the Chalfont viaduct but Helch’s omnipresence won me over. Seeing his tags brought a smile to my face. He got everywhere!

Pretty shocking about the Tadej crash. I know people get fed up of him winning but I was really hoping he was going to do the entire Vuelta in Red. He looks chipper enough in that hospital photo he shared but hope his recovery is smooth and he is back for another go next year.

My pizza post seems to have generated traffic. I was so hungry I didn’t even notice its extensive crust. The bit in the middle was seriously cheesy with broccoli & courgette so folding it in half meant it worked fine. Tasted pretty good despite the look.

Stopped off at the new rooftop bar at Village Underground for a few between gig drinks. Nice space though there were quite a few reserved areas which made finding a spot tricky. In the end we made friends with the lovely people from Stripe.
