So, I picked up this CD from the library. This cover is weird. What are these expressions?? ½

The cover of "A Winter Romance" by Dean Martin. Dean is standing outside of a ski lodge in the midst of a hug with a woman that barely comes up to his chin. She is looking up at him with a big smile. Martin, however, is looking over her towards another woman, who is looking at Martin as if they have a hook-up later. It's not going to be warm solely by the fire.

I bought the wrong copy of a CD today. One more click would've told me I needed to buy the other copy. 🤬 I hate it when remastered versions differ in their labeling by only a catalog number. No new © messages—nothing. This one's compressed down to almost half of the dynamic range as the original.

I bought a Swiss Army knife the summer I worked at a 4-H camp after my first year of college. so, I've had it for 35 years. During that first summer, I dropped it and it broke the scale on one end. I didnt know you could buy new ones until about 2 weeks ago. This thing is going to look brand new!

The tweezer end of a Swiss Army Knife. There is a missing chunk of plastic right next to where the tweezers slide in, and a crack running down the side.

Back in November the best manager I have ever had passed away. She was young, 44. Today, there was an announcement that another colleague, who had been at one time the manager's EA, has passed away. She was 36. WTF? 😢

It takes you 20 paragraphs to get to the part of the article where they admit that Mamdani isn't paying the influencers and the reason they are posting videos of the stuff Mamdani is doing is because people are interested in watching it.

The mayor’s office says that it does not pay the influencers. Still, their proximity and access to a figure as popular as Mr. Mamdani can help increase their own social media following and, by extension, potentially put them in a position to attract paid content sponsorships from commercial brands. Some influencers said that when they feature Mr. Mamdani, the videos get more likes and viewers watch longer.
