So, I picked up this CD from the library. This cover is weird. What are these expressions?? ½

The cover of "A Winter Romance" by Dean Martin. Dean is standing outside of a ski lodge in the midst of a hug with a woman that barely comes up to his chin. She is looking up at him with a big smile. Martin, however, is looking over her towards another woman, who is looking at Martin as if they have a hook-up later. It's not going to be warm solely by the fire.

The sheer number of outlets that are reporting this amazes me. Back in the 80s, it would've taken weeks for this news to get out and around. USA Today, Variety, Billboard, MSN, etc. would never have reported on this. (Not that MSN existed in the 80s.)

I've never heard of her. Is this a good or bad thing? I see she's been on a podcast with Shermer, and that is a 🚩 for me. However, I can't seem to find anything glaring. I haven't done a deep dive, or know if it's worth it.

I bought the wrong copy of a CD today. One more click would've told me I needed to buy the other copy. 🤬 I hate it when remastered versions differ in their labeling by only a catalog number. No new © messages—nothing. This one's compressed down to almost half of the dynamic range as the original.

I learned a lot from a former colleague regarding interviews, and this would be something I wouldn't notice. Also, I am not a Fortune 500 company or as conceited enough to care.

I don't know much of what the discourse about iced coffees at interviews is, but if I show up to an interview, have an iced coffee in my hand, and you don't hire me solely on that (but otherwise am qualified for), I didn't want to work there anyway.
