"Ben?” A woman’s lovely voice from behind him paused Ben’s rapid thoughts.

Slowly, he looked over his shoulder. His eyes widened, and his jaw slackened when he saw a beautiful woman with chestnut hair pulled back into an elegant bun standing in a formal champagne-colored dress while holding a clutch in her two hands. Her arms were toned with a sprinkling of freckles along her sun-kissed skin. A simple pair of earrings dangled from her ears, and the light shimmer of eyeshadow made him zero in on her hazel-colored eyes. He nervously swallowed while turning his body to greet her.

“Rey?” Ben asked in return.

Of course this woman is Rey. Who else would meet him downtown dressed in formal wear? Just as Ben started to chastise himself mentally, Rey’s bright smile calmed his frayed nerves.

She felt his long leg pressing itself between hers and her heart stopped. He pushed a little harder, until her knees gave and parted just a little. She hated how she trembled. She hated how she could barely focus on anything besides every place where he touched her. She hated him. She should be doing everything to get away and yet, she just stood there and let herself become trapped.

“I want you exactly as you are right now,” Kylo said, the words a deep, manipulated purr. “Angry, spiteful, a little murderous. But also fucking scared. I love the way you wear your fear.”

“I am not scared,” she hissed. But the words sounded weak even to her own ears.

“Yes you are,” he argued. “You don’t know what I’m about to do and it scares you. You’re curious, and that scares you too.”

She was still grumbling incoherently as she walked to her fridge and opened a container of what looked like leftover spaghetti and meat sauce. She grabbed a fork and ate it cold while leaning against her kitchen counter. He tilted his head at the screen.

Cold spaghetti at two A.M.? She really is a freak.

He yawned as he watched her eat and put the remaining leftovers away. He was about to turn his computer off, assuming she was just going to go to bed now and he didn’t really feel the need to watch her sleep (anymore), when she pulled her shirt over her head.

Kylo went completely still as he watched. He’d never seen her undress before. She always did it in the ensuite bathroom, and he refused to put cameras in bathrooms—he wasn’t that depraved. But now…

Not sure when I’ll have something ready for pairing, but I finally opened Late to the Party again!

Rey carefully slipped from the opposite side of Ben's bed, pulling her shirt down over her hips even though what she really wanted to do was strip it off. They should be skin to skin, a little voice in the back of her head insisted. It would help. She took a slow breath and asked again. "What do you remember, Alpha?"
He flinched then swallowed and looked away, shame rolling off of him.
"..there were noodles?"
"There were." Rey actually relaxed, just a bit. "That's good.”

In the upcoming chapter 3 of It’s Not A Thing, Rey! one of our favorite trash cats has a lovely dream. 🤭

Rey rubbed her cheek across the cushion again, then paused, sniffing to inspect her work. Nice and wet in the center, thoroughly scented there, but the upper right corner still smelled too much of cedar and pepper and woodsmoke in leather. She sneezed then wiggled her nose before setting to work, licking two times, three, then rubbing her cheeks across the leather, really working her scent in. Once it smelled right, she'd figure out a way to take it home. It would be perfect in the second-hand chair she had in the corner. She licked once more, then slubbed it with her cheeks again, but perhaps a bit too forcefully because it moved, toppling over and nearly taking her with it.

Geroff. Taaaash.

Rey snapped awake and froze, her very definitely still human face pressed against the back of Ben's very wet neck.

They’re also being punished for a near eternity, never to roam again for a thousand years for triggering some volcanic eruption that took out some island when they were supposed to torment a few gamblers.

“Oh boys! Please come play with me, I’m bored,” Rey calls when she finally reaches their chamber.

The two demons come sniffing out of the shadows, more beast than man. They’re large, thickly muscled creatures, with wings and horns. Each has two prehensile tails that they like to play many a prank with. However, Rey finds their tails quite delightful.

“Princess,” Kylo growls, his eyes glowing with mischief. He’s the slightly taller of the two. Meanwhile Ben forgoes any verbal greeting, nudging her shoulder with his big head. She reaches up and gives him a scratch.

So he will gladly take her here, on his desk, because it is the only chance he may ever get and he will never let her walk away without a piece of him buried beneath her skin forevermore.
