With everything falling in to place, Ben's small bachelor pad slowly transformed into his and Rey's love nest. She brought house plants and colorful art prints, basically breathing life and color into what was once a gray world. They made love often, discovering each other, experimenting, learning, never getting tired or bored no matter how many times and how many surfaces they had sex on.

There's a comment for "The End of the Tether" which mentioned how the sexual tension between Ben and Rey will now be ramped up. They're right. This is an excerpt from Chapter 4. "You are," she said, her voice dropping lower, sending a shiver down his spine. "I'm not stupid. I know why you're taking water showers. You think the water can hide your little gasps. The way you try to be quiet but you can't quite manage it."

"Rey, stop—"

"And I know you think about me," she continued, stepping closer. "I know because I can hear you. Calling out my name. I know you imagine it's me touching you."

Ben's back hit the wall. He hadn't even realized he'd been retreating.

"You're insane," he breathed. "You're absolutely insane."

"Maybe I am." She reached up, her fingers brushing against the opening of his robe, sliding against the skin of his chest. "But I'm not wrong, am I?"

He shuddered from her touch but quickly grabbed her wrist, stopping her from opening his robe.

"You think I want you?" He forced out a harsh laugh. "You really think someone would ever want you? You're nothing!"

Ben's head snapped to the side as Rey's palm connected with his cheek. The sound was so loud, it echoed in the galley. His cheek stung, his whole body frozen, his breath trapped in his throat.

He slowly turned his head back to face her. Rey's chest was heaving, her hand still raised, her eyes blazing even as tears fell down her cheeks.

He looked at her. Saw her fury in the snow. Under the falling fire light. Through crashing waves.

Something snapped inside him, and he rushed forward, crashing his lips to hers.

The thought that Rey and Ben had possibly spent hundreds of days together in the Falcon by the time of her daydream which feels like an AU timeline. Hundreds of days they could've "christened" every single corner of the Falcon. That place is gonna light up like a Christmas tree under a UV lamp
