One of the two remaining reservoirs on Holme Fell. Originally there were three but one of them failed when the dam collapsed. I've never found the site of the third. They originally provided water power for the quarry workings below.

Definitely not an afternoon for tripods on this day in Torridon. We were at this one particular area for around 2.5 hours, where most of that time was spent with our backs to the driving rain, in what must have been at least 40mph winds. #landscapephotography
