With hindsight this is really confusing/conflicted advertising. What a generous man! What a cheapskate! I'm told it was pretty nasty stuff, anyway.

I'm an interested layman, but I've got absolutely no idea what this all means. Help! Somebody?

Radio 3 is such a joy, from Breakfast all the way to Round Midnight. Many many happy discoveries await.

Mind you, the daughter married in the spring so I guess it will be held up as irrefutable evidence that I must therefore actually be an adult.

Normality is significantly overrated, a bit like being an adult. I'm toying with the latter but treating it as optional for the time being.

'American intelligence' is what I believe is called an oxymoron, by the example given by their government.

Is this the chap who has got involved with Man Utd? Working out well, fine judgement. Ineos cycling team? No experience so don't know, but I don't think they've done so well. Mercedes F1 - suffered a big dip in form when this guy got involved (albeit recovering). Monaco tax exile?

I keep wondering if I should send the SNP a snarky email asking if they are open to offers for any motorhomes. Seems frivolous even for me.

Just to close the loop, a picture of our little church at work, from our Daughter's wedding in early June. The Saturday when it rained.

Morning Gretel, you are so right about the politics- and it is too easy to be dragged in, but at least folks here are rather more polite. Also my few witterings are not (totally) ignored. I'm out of time at the mo, so may I return to my little list later for you?

I keep being amazed by the sloppiness of BL (etc) this is a publicity brochure to sell the prestige car - which is obviously wonky. Iffy shut lines are one thing, but this was a whole new order of ineptitude.

As lads my cousin and I cycled out to see what we had been told was 'the golden church of Lound'. V disappointed to discover the entire church wasn't made of gold, however, I get it now!
