A while ago I had to leave a server because of an uncommon strain of lesbophobia: that becoming trans enough means that gender attraction means nothing and that you will invariably become bisexual because any gender can look like anything, which, ugh, sucks to hear as a trans lesbian

Last month, Aleanna Royal Bechdel, a 31 year-old Black trans woman who was a DJ, promoter, and artist, was murdered in a housing complex in New York, and a 54-year old man was arrested. There has been very little press coverage on this, including by queer outlets run by cis white people.

It increasingly seems like Bluesky moderation/admin is simply actively transphobic as a matter of policy. Which, yes, was clear even before they special-cased Jesse Singal's behavior as not harassment or Jay's "WAFFLES LOL" post, but it seems it's really ratcheted up in recent weeks.
