These were three individual pieces I did in 2021. Unplanned, they became something of an accidental sequence. They then prompted me to make the piece in the quoted post, of the pumpkin dance, by way of a conclusion. Ink on Fabriano Medioevalis, each 95 × 64 mm.

Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara, a 1996 arcade adaptation of TSR's D&D campaign setting by Capcom, had a number of regional flyers created to help promote it. One of these was a multi-page "secret file" that came out in Japan filled with concept art, illustrations, and even a developer Q&A!

This page shows a number of concept design illustrations with commentary from the artist on the thought process behind some of the smaller details (like a backpack!). Kinu Nishimura was responsible for the character designs behind the game.

These two pages show additional illustrations including a few prototype sketches for the characters players can choose to be in the game. Taking up a big section of the page were sketeches for "Immmortals", or the patron deities for each character class. In TSR's TTRPG Mystara setting for D&D, Immortals were its gods.
