That said, I still struggle a bit with the sense of FOMO that seems baked into a lot of the more (hobbyist) mainstream wargames and boardgames culture, and trying to extract myself from the ideas of what I was excited about 10 or 20 years ago but never got to realise for whatever reason... 🫠
