Macintosh b&w art, random pick from my collection day 04
black and white bitmap art of a moonscape view, but a very close planet is looming on the horizon and a gigantic mirror is reflecting yet another view of that planet.

Last week, Texas executed Jamaal Howard, a mentally ill and intellectually disabled man. It was the first since Tennessee's botched killing. In this piece, his spiritual advisor Jeff Hood describes their final conversations, in which he tried to help Howard understand his fate.

Red and navy blue always a winner in my estimation and this Worth gown uses the brightest of reds to punctuate the details of their mid #1890s design. Nicely nautical for seaside promenading #NGVMelbourne #FashionHistory 🗃️🪡

Drawing of a snail on the soil. Drawing of a snail in the soil. The text “see what snails eat at night” above two people observing plants under a crescent moon. Each pen you build must also keep the snails safe from their enemies.
Snails have many enemies.
You must be careful to protect them from
• mice and rats
• shrews and moles
• walking insects that live on the ground such as ants and beetles
• slugs and other snails that eat snail meat
• birds that eat snails
• frogs and toads
• thieves

I have a million opinions on this but a big one is to practice at just having 2-4 people over more often. Pick up takeout, toast frozen appetizers, eat chips and dip and just focus on the bathroom if you don’t have time to clean. No one cares. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

Nobody is more punk than babies. The food is vegetarian mush, and it's absolutely everywhere. No matter where they live, they're effectively squatting. They sleep all day and stay up late. They're completely broke. Their music is mostly screaming and amateur drumming. It's so cool.

It's World Homeless Day, and I'll just say: Homelessness isn't some great unsolvable mystery. People are homeless because they don't have homes. This suffering persists not for lack of solutions, but because enormous wealth and power are invested in maintaining the very structures that produce it.
