I literally work in the heart of San Francisco AI Central. So it gives me great joy to explain what Pope Leo means by ontological. Kids these concepts go back to Greek philosophy. Christian theologians have been in an ongoing conversation about this for 1800 years.

Tumblr-level activism on display here and going after allies. It's performative. Additionally why should anyone listen to you when you have a symbol of literal genocide in your name. The hammer and sickle is a hate symbol. There are actual serious and useful things to do as queer people.

Sometimes chaplaincy is a contact sport. Healthcare workers face high rates of workplace violence. The bulk of it falls on nurses, CNAs, and other bedside staff and ED staff. Most of my encounters were in the ED. This week I got hit by a cane in a palliative consult. Abrasion+concussion.

The surge in Minneapolis may be winding down. However ICE/CBP has just swapped tactics like they did in LA. Hitting smaller towns and cities targeting isolated individuals and small groups with fewer agents in places like: Coon Rapids, Rochester, Duluth etc.
