✨The Pond seems a bit quieter today. In the distance, you hear a song. Soft. Beautiful. As you approach the water, you catch a glimpse of something... Two crimson eyes stare back at you. A smile follows. “Oh...You found me.” ❤️ "I have been waiting for you."✨ --------------- #lilystrations

I'm sorry, "Metacritic bonuses" are still a thing?! They should never be a thing! If I play your game and review it and it didn't work for me and I don't think it's good, that doesn't mean the people who made it should get paid any less!

As well as having the life-changing impact of losing a job, imminent layoffs at The Coalition could also lead to another financial loss for current employees. According to Eurogamer, E-Day developers were working under the assumption of receiving a so-called “Metacritic bonus,” a pay-out should the game achieve a given Metacritic score based on critics’ reviews. However, according to the terms, to be eligible for this you still have to be working at the company at the time of the pay-out, which is expected to be “near the end of October.” Anyone let go before that could possibly no longer receive the reward for their work.

Focusing on working on my One-Shot today, and feels good to be doing it. Honestly, I've been deep in Valheim due to wanting to play with friends, but I'm having fun thinking of what people could do in my first one-shot and planning out the small area.

There's many plausible explanations for what's going on here but none of them look good for A24; they all require either malice or incompetence. Are they simply unaware that stuff on the internet isn't necessarily in the public domain? Do they think they can just break the license in court?

Scenes such as this where the light is reflecting on the water are accomplished through a process called "backlighting", "underlighting" or "bipack glow". To create the effect a matte is cut and light is shone through the holes.
