Turns out its been over a month since I've last drawn Aoife, Didnt mean to let it go that long she genuinely just slipped my mind. One day I'll set up a reminder system or something to that effect to help keep track but for today enjoy her looking into the night sky.

Halloweens coming and as you can probably expect I will be drawing the cast in costumes here and there throughout the month. But no need to rush into it we've still got the whole month left.

An image depicting a mermaid hanging a sign reading "Halloween Special (Inquire Inside)". Another mermaid asks her "It just turned october, Isnt it a bit early Lady Bridget?" to which she replies "They're already selling christmas stuff at Mart-Mart"

I've been told by people who wear glasses that sometimes they'll forget they're wearing them and start looking for them. Closest i've had to this is not feeling my phone in my pocket and panicking for a second only to realize im holding it.

The latest little tidbit from my scrolling of animal facts is that Blue Tang are known to lay down on their sides, theres a couple reasons one being that thats just how they like to sleep. Its a good thing Morag was a side sleeper before becoming a mermaid. Fiona however was a back sleeper, tragic.

An image depicting two mermaids on a beach, one with a blue tang tail laying on her side and one with a dolphin tail reading a book.
The dolphin asks "Is that comfortable?" to which the tang mermaid responds "It feels right"
The dolphin then asks "But is it comfortable?" which the tang then replies "...No."

If you ever wondered which one of Morags outfits is my favourite just know im not exactly shy about it being the scarf and shell combo. Also drew her with short hair since outside of the animated episodes I dont do that nearly enough

Its that time when I draw Maeve as a different species again. This time its a Cecaelia, The more traditional species for a sea witch. Also a bonus image to highlight the difference from the classic sea witches you see and how Maeve operates.

Most of the time i decide what to draw on the day I draw it, this one I had the idea for a while ago and only now got around to drawing

The top left depicts a person saying "Im Feather-less" the bottom left shows another say "Im a biped".
The middle shows them as a mermaid and a bird man saying in unison "Together we are, A Man!!"
The right shows a mermaid with a number 1 flag saying you're doing great!

Ever wonder where all those signs I use for announcements come from, I have someone for that. She's also the closest thing you're gonna get to a Mersona out of me so take that as you will, Personally I choose to associate myself with my Original mascot though.

An image of a mermaid making signs, she says "This ones gonna be a banger."

An image of a mermaid and a man, the man asks "Any Ideas-" The mermaid interrupts "Cute Mermaids" the man says "For lunch, Adenine..." finishing his sentence from before interruption.

Due to her proficiency in combat Saoirse will sometimes be asked for help in other departments operations. However since most of her out of region excursions are on land she's had to come up with creative ways to avoid becoming a dried fish before she got her water suit.

The image depicts a mermaid in a tank of water pouring a glass of water over her head and an insect man on a stakeout in a building, the man says "Sorry about the "accomodations". Its all I could find.", the mermaid responds "Dont worry about it, Last time I had to use a garden sprinkler."

Todays the 4th and if my notes are right final request of the bonus round. Its for @/crayregular.bsky.social of his character Malva storming into Maeves office. Unfortunately it doesnt appear Maeve was quite home at the time.

The left depicts a mermaid holding a trident underwater storming into an underwater office yelling "WHERE IS SHE!"
The right shows a woman in a movie theatre with 3D glasses eating popcorn. The text onscreen reads "We should split up." The woman thinks "Rookie Mistake."

''Oops, all tails!'', was the dumb joke that inspired todays picture. I've done a good number of pictures that focus on the upper half of the mermaids so todays for the lower half. Its a pretty shallow justification I ultimately just wanted to use that captain crunch joke.

An online personality test can tell you alot of things about yourself even if you're outright lying, For Morag this is very much the case. Side note, I know alot of the posts have featured Fiona lately but if theres a character I havent drawn in a while that you'd like to see feel free to tell me.

The left depicts a Lamia being carried by a human woman with a rose in her mouth.
The right depicts the Lamia reading her phone, she says ""Do you often fantasize?" Noooo.....". She is lying.

Just one image today, Its Fiona and Morag in their pre-transformation outfits in their mermaid forms. Why do they never wear these post transformation? Fionas dorsal fin makes wearing a skirt awkward and Morag prefers to keep her gills unobstructed. Short hair Morag is rare enough though.

Its that time of year when I get catch a cold seemingly every month, Luckily I had nowhere to be today so I spent this morning drawing my favourite dolphin girl multiple times.

The first of the bonus requests is for @/gonkachino.bsky.social, a remix of that one comic of Fiona catching an oarfish. Fish or Mermaid pulling up an oarfish seems to just be asking for a storm to brew.

The left panel depicts a mermaid sitting on a rock above water with a fishing rod.
The right panel shows her pulling up and oarfish mermaid yelling "I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING!" as the weather surrounding them turns stormy

Taking a break from the requests for a day or 2, I wanted to try something different today so heres my attempt at a stained glass style picture with Maeve, Maeve seemed the most likely to have a stained glass panel of herself so she's the subject of todays image.

Day 6 of requests and the last of the winning batch is for @/gulop1th3cuz.bsky.social of his mersona Wulfric gifting a homemade necklace, The character I chose was Fiona since she hasnt appeared yet and she is one half of the main duo so that made sense to me.

The 2nd request is for @/lyrawren.bsky.social of their character Dessie hanging out with Saoirse, What are they doing? Making sure Morag isnt using explosives on fishing boats. Such is the life of a guard captain in a peaceful area.

Lamias, two days in a row? I've been in a Lamia drawing mood lately so you may get one tomorrow, possibly the day after. I dont know though I dont often plan these in advance I kind of just think of what i'll draw maybe an hour or 2 before I do it usually.

A christmas themed picture in september, I've become the very thing i've sworn to destroy! I generally dont like pushing ideas for pictures back because im liable to forget them. As for the requests they'll start on the 9th, entries still open so if your interested see yesterdays post.

The first panel shows a lamia at a company holiday party.
The second shows her holding a wrapped gift labeled "Morag", she says "Aw Sweet".
The third panel shows her holding a pair of socks, behind her 2 coworkers can be seen saying "Why did you get a lamia socks""I didnt know!!!"
The third panel shows her at home wearing the sock on the tip of her snaketail, she pictures in her head a sock puppet saying "Hello!"

I know this comic will make 0 sense to most people but years ago I saw this video of someone preparing food and a Giraffe just poking its head around the corner and staring at them and it is one of the most unnerving things I've seen in a while, But i cannot for the life of me find the video again.

The first panel shows a mermaid on a wheelchair rolling into an office, she says "We got your message what's the emergency?"
The second panel shows a giraffe looking at the camera from around a corner.
The third panel shows the mermaid with a thought bubble of another mermaid being the giraffe.
The fourth panel shows the other mermaid in human form leaning over and saying "I dont know what to do in this situation." The wheelchair mermaid replies "Am I supposed to?!?".
