I found my digitized immunization record today (my childhood shots were documented on paper in a rural office, so I never thought the day would come.) I DID get my second measles vaccine! Which is great for my immunocompromised ass, because measles are in Oregon now, apparently.

I just had to contact Torrid support for a delivery snafu, and the chat IMMEDIATELY connected me to a live agent and not an AI chatbot. It was so much easier to get my problem resolved, and I thanked them for the policy. Tbh, it was kind of refreshing.

Want some good news in the hellscape? My rural town, which HATES its homeless population, has a warming station. This warming station gives away toiletries, clothes, and gives our unhoused ways to shower, brush their teeth, and go inside to rest. They're expanding their services year-round.
