As exciting as a lucky dice roll can be in a story-heavy game, they often feel like a vestigial holdover from TTRPGs, where the abstraction of dice for social/story checks is necessary to keep events flowing forward. There also isn't savescumming in TTRPGs. Players have to adapt to a bad roll...

Es hilarante que ff7rebirth tenga un problema resuelto en Gongaga (mapa en varios niveles con cambios de nivel no marcados ni atados al lugar que acceder)... ...tan resuelto que el juego mismo lo hace en Cañón Cosmo, en el capítulo siguiente. En plan ¿quién ha hecho este juego, seis equipos?

This was drawn in '24, early dev, the first time it really felt me, Zach, and JBO understood Frankie, Andi, and the show's tone. I still look at this drawing and think, oh yeah. That's #knightsofguinevere.
