The veteran Green Lantern Tomar-Re tells young Arisia of various Green Lanterns that can't attended a Corps meeting. As for Mogo -- well, there's a BIG reason. - A "Tales of the Green Lantern Corps" classic by Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons (creators of Watchmen)

Tomar-Re explains that there are some Green Lanterns who cannot attend meetings. For example, one Green Lantern is a super intelligent smallpox virus.

Another Green Lantern attends but is an abstract mathematical progression that only the Guardians can notice.

And as for Mogo...well, he doesn't socialize.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!

In the twist at the end, we learned that the Green Lantern Mogo is a sentient planet.
