Vancouver is the epicentre of BC's housing shortage. Mayor and council continue to use restrictive zoning to ban apartments—non-market and market housing alike—on the vast majority of the residential land, suppressing housing supply and driving displacement. This city is not doing "doing its part"

NEW - BC is launching the provincial registry for short-term rentals on properties like AirBnB, VRBO, etc. All owners must register for a number, which then is displayed on listings. The government will charge owners a fee to register, also.

A reminder that Los Angeles had its hottest summer in history last year. Southern California has received just 2% of "normal" rainfall during the current "rainy" season. These fires are a direct result of a warming & drying atmosphere caused by burning fossil fuels. We are in a climate emergency.
