There’s also the experience of enduring the unsafe space and then the perpetrators are so angry that they haven’t broken you that they find a way to rob you of the opportunities, experiences, promotions as punishment.

#MelbourneAirport boss-bastarding, again. It's already hard to help someone who needs a #wheelchair or walker on & off flights. How can this be legal? It was only ameliorated by airline wheelchair/staff (sometimes & only to the terminal door) & volunteers. Now, it's going to be worse. #disabled

The accounting is in: In Oregon there are 111 data centers. The TOTAL number of people employed at data centers is just 2,630, or 0.1% of the labor force. Those 100 data centers consumer 23% of all electricity used in Oregon. Meanwhile, electricity rates skyrocket as more centers are built.

September 16 is Plover Appreciation Day - so I'm offering this rare and special hooded plover for you all to appreciate. These nest on beaches and are very vulnerable to predators (including humans). They are the sweetest little birds. I love seeing them.
