Sometimes I do wonder how well it comes across that me joking on about how nothing good has ever happened to me is making the best of a bad situation. Why nothing good ever happens to me is an aspect of my disability between me and my doctors, but people sure find it difficult to believe that.

quick trip, slow recovery

hedge woundwort flower stem which has tiny and purplish flowers, some lighter pink geranium x oxonian flowers and sun dappled leaves in the background

bright white blackberry flowers sit among green leaves with a common grasshopper resting on a leaf before making a bunch more noise

lots of fresh vegetative growth on mixed scrubland with woodland a few hundred metres back, blue skies with wispy clouds are above

absolute treat to make it to the acres today

a purple/pink oxonian x geranium flower, which has five petals and prominent purple lines, several green leaves are in the background as well as other flowers

two dogrose flowers, light pink with large clusters of yellow stamens inside, with some ferocious looking thorns just out of focus in the background. A spent flower lurks below, ready to turn to a rosehip

a common spotted orchid coming into flower from the bottom up, a conical arrangement of little blooms of white and pink, with grass in the background and hints of yellow flowers

a large cluster of many hawthorn flowers, each with circular white petals with many pink tipped stamens pointing out all over. A very happy beetle is having lunch, unsure of the species.

This Pluribus ad on a fridge caused a schizophrenic woman named Carol to be hospitalized.

A screenshot of a Reddit post from r/LegalAdviceUK by user Fun-Blueberry-2147. The post describes that the user’s sister, who has schizophrenia, admitted herself to the hospital after believing someone was communicating with her through her smart fridge, which turned out to be an LED screen advertisement. The post explains that she spent two days under monitoring with medication adjustments and that the specific ad she saw included her name, making it especially distressing. The user questions the legality of such targeted or unsettling ads on smart appliances in the UK.

sweet jesus but I suspect Musk and his DOGE boys are so dumb they think a probationary employee means 'employee punished for misdeeds' like the way convicted criminals get probation, and not 'employee hired less than a year ago' ie talented younger new people, who are pretty fucking important in IT
