Not only was it bad, but its particular badness ruined the seasons that I had enjoyed to the point that I can't even re-watch them. Knowing that it all was so pointless saps the life out of everything. Which is sad given what amazing actors and designers it had for its whole run.

Final Fantasy VII is a movie. I think this was essentially stated not just by the Game Over screen, but also because it was the first in the series to feature FMV cutscenes.

My babysitter told me that centipedes were deadly venomous. I was horrified of them for years. I saw Legend when I was seven. Tim Curry (RIP) as Darkness haunted my nights, keeping me from falling asleep. Since we were a Catholic family, my parents couldn't tell me Satan wasn't out to get me.

Was there any class/character-balancing done in this new version (*cough* Cid *cough*)? My understanding is that there had been none, so I gave this a pass. Love the story of FFT, but always felt that the latter half was so easy it became trivial to the point of tedium gameplay-wise.

Saw Her Private Hell last weekend. I went in with high hopes, but I’m forced to admit that the blue-and-pink neon synthwave aesthetic has become too commonplace to sustain visual interest or compensate for an undercooked plot or characters. The vibe has died. It will be remembered fondly.
