@hikingdude I do look at my followers at (infrequent) intervals. I'm mostly concerned about zero follower accounts. I'm set up now to approve new followers, but I do need to go back and do some weeding. I have a few blocks and/or mutes for weird behaviour, too.

I'm not trying to be difficult, really, but when I'm asked "why didn't you make this photo in color?", they might as well ask "why wasn't this rendered as a sculpture?" or "why didn't you write a poem?". They're all just different media.

Round the back of the Castle, I heard some screeching. Merlin bird sound app suggested ring-necked parakeets. And then an old fellow with his dogs came by and said, you listening to the parakeets? So I think it's pretty much confirmed!

I have just seen a pair of (probably) #RingNeckedParakeets fly into the copper beech across the street, and then fly out again. Rapid flight, long narrow tail, showed green on the back as they flew away!
