This town is getting more and more awesome. It's happening. The renaissance is underway for this wee city. This is the new library and city precinct. Tauranga has its haters, and they're not all unfounded. But it's on the up.

#nzpol I'm almost certain to be voting Green this election, unless something weird happens. They aren't perfect, I don't agree with every policy, but I agree with the broad thrust of their politics, and I think most of their policies are pretty good.

These terraces of sinter grow really slowly, they won't really eat your feet. It looks like a vast, hot, glacier. The path is safe. Don't wander off, though.
