Just to be clear: these rising rates have nothing to do w RFK nixing boosters (though that's very bad), they're because both Democrats and Republicans have dismantled public health and no one is masking and taking airborne disease precautions. Our current vaccines don't stop transmission, MASK UP!!

I need people to understand: 1. Every US state already evicts more people annually than all of the EU combined 2. In most states, having a disability, health emergency, or a financial hardship is not a defense to an eviction suit 3. In most states, there is no right to counsel in eviction cases

Sarahmarie Grendler and her kids became homeless after their rental was left to rot with water damage and black mold. She ended up in the ICU. The home was condemned. Her landlord still demanded rent. "How are you going to ask me for money," she said, "when the house is condemned by the city?"
