I'm not saying that David Eby is going to call a snap provincial election sometime in the next couple of weeks. But I will say the amount of speculation about it has exploded in the last 24 hours, and a lot of plugged in people have shifted from idle gossip to saying it's being considered.

My analysis of this situation is that COPE and OneCity are still very deep in their bubble of talking to core supporters, deeply hoping that Vancouver voters will rise up and support their candidacy en masse, and deeply panicking that things didn't naturally resolve itself through magic
