🚨 Right now, Tommy Robinson is in London claiming to speak for us. It’s the ultimate distraction from the very real problems we face. But we know the truth: migrants aren’t the problem, far-right billionaires are. ✊ Share this post to make it clear: Tommy Robinson does not speak for us.
A graphic on a black background featuring large, bold text at the top that reads, "ROBINSON & MUSK ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS." The word "NOT" is highlighted in bright red, while the rest of the text is in a light cream color.

In the center of the image are the floating heads of two men: Tommy Robinson on the left and Elon Musk on the right.

At the bottom of the graphic, smaller white text reads: "Hate won’t pay our rent. Division won’t fix the NHS."

America, where all the accidents are built to last Reginald Sherpherd
A Man Named Troy (from Selected Poems of Reginald Shepherd)

Here are the homeless black men begging small coins on the corner, and to the left are the instructive ruins of others' wars, nine layers of rubble struggling for the site of one lost city. Here is some blond man stalled halfway down a slope called realism in a long white car. It's called America, where all the accidents are built to last, where all the alabaster and chipped marble anyone could ever use is quarried and carried away. (Achilles is killed by Apollo the butcher of heroes, who doesn't care whose side he slaughters, doesn't recall from one day's lethal sunlight to another: Apollo who prophesied long life, beauty, and the love of many men and women, then forgot.) He wasn't born yet, somehow he's responsible. He's just reading the paper in an afternoon café, reading random pages of unwritten history, his
or whose. He's history, him or me or someone illegible, all too readable. Who wrote that, here.
And lined-up lighted windows aren't the eyes of trains hurtling toward the underground entrance
