Had a lovely car-free daytrip to Windermere today: 1. 755 bus Carnforth to Bowness £3. 2. Bowness ferry £1.50 3. Walk to Wray Castle. 4. Windermere Boat Cruise Wray to Ambleside then Bowness with with 50% residents' discount: £8.85. 5. 755 bus to Carnforth £3. Total cost: £16:35

Today I found my first seabean. This seed has travelled a long way to reach #Shetland. Starting it's journey in a tropical forest, travelling with ocean currents and washing up with our first autumn storms. A little piece of luck and joy to hold onto as daylight fades and winter approaches.
