Upon landing, substantial damage was observed to the plane's rudder. This was likely caused during the struggle and extreme stress on the aircraft's frame during the dive. The aircraft was traveling with 174 passengers including 27 children.

It is being reported that the hijacking distress code 7500 was activated at 8:35am local time on the plane's transponder which immediately prompted fighter jets to be scrambled to get a visual on the aircraft.

Passengers and cabin crew entered the flight deck and observed a fight with one of the pilots were stabbed multiple times from a pocket knife. Two off-duty pilots in civilian clothes were onboard and helped to stabilize the aircraft and land the plane safely.

The aircraft was flying at 34,000 feet when at 05:20 UTC, the aircraft suddenly went into a nosedive. This is supported by preliminary flight tracking data that observed a rate of descent of 30,000 feet per minute!

Excellent insights. I would prefer CFL be treated as its own league instead of a minor league to avoid what MLB and NHL has done to theirs. They don't care how the minor league performs as long as they get top prospects. Soccer has showed you can have multiple professional leagues simultaneously.

A college graduate working in corporate America for 19 years in a senior level position should not be struggling to afford a one bedroom apartment in a medium sized city. I go out to eat much less and delay medical care due to affordability.

High-speed rail should be a part of the movement to reduce unnecessary air travel congestion between major cities. Imagine a high speed rail network connecting Washington DC to Boston. Currently takes 7 hours by USA rail under best conditions. Modern high speed rail could make it in 3 hours.
