If Minnesota instituted free, universal childcare it would be the single greatest investment in any state's economy in decades. An order of magnitude more effective than any suite of tax credits or sweetheart financing deal. Companies very often go where their workers are. This is just free money.

Advertisers telling FA that plus sized characters are too sexual, then telling CSP to remove kissing references because it's too sexual, is a great example as to why advertisers are bad, and trying to sanitize the fandom is a waste of time. Advertisers, paypros and puritans belong in the bin.

These kind of technical advances need to be owned by the public. That means software needs to be completely open source and the hardware needs to be 100% open, documented, and user serviceable with any specialized tools also made easy to obtain at appropriate prices. Anything less is unacceptable

And more importantly you need to be able to know about what level of harm needs to be disclosed. Are they just an asshole to some people? Do they not mesh well with some people? Only those directly involved need to be aware. Do they keep trying to get into events to stalk people? That's different.

Lilith's favorite thing in the world is her backpack. We leave it set up with the back porch extended whenever we have her out and she will always go to it when she gets squirrelly where she will relax and calm down before coming back out. It also makes traveling with her very easy!

We get a heated cat bed for Lilith (a boa constrictor) and the first thing she does is curl up around my legs and use my hand as a pillow before falling asleep. This snake picks me over a car bed set to her ideal temperature 🥹 (It's hard to tell a sleeping snake but there are signs.)
