Hey y'all! Update on things: Ella and I have made it to Texas and we are waiting on out stuff to arrive and setup the new place. Looking to have internet at the new later this week. After that, it will be a few weeks before I know when I can commit to be streaming again.

I am literally tired and in physical pain after the packing up and load up for the move. One more night left before the drive to Texas tomorrow. Hoping the Tylenol and Ibuprofen kicks in soon, after I get some dinner for Ella and I.

The final gamer thing I completed before leaving Louisiana: Leveled all crafters and gatherers to lvl 100 in #ffxiv While I'm happy to have gotten it done before Evercold, it kinda makes this move a bit more sad. By Friday, I will officially be living in Texas for the foreseeable future.

💯 a lot of us creators have been here since the start. It isn’t just that suddenly we can’t take it, the tone of negativity and judgement and intensity has gotten SO much worse for creators (and just people) and it’s deeply upsetting.

Today has had a lot going on between work and packing up the place for the move. I did manage to watch the Ocarina of Time Remake release date announcement. Part of me is excited, but the other part is not looking forward to having to buy a Switch 2 just to play it. I might just pass on this one.

This weekend was something else. Another power surge issue that resulted in me biying a new router to keep me online. My friends and I finished #ffxiv Stormblood MSQ. Yesterday, was my final stream here in Louisiana. Now the packing begins, as we move to Texas next week.

Update: Gaming PC fan replaced and back up and running after some retuning and adjustments. Stream PC MB and Processor arrives today. I'll be tearing it down and rebuilding it tonight to see if anything else is bad. RAM tested good on another PC. Waiting to see if the GPU and NVMe survived.

Yesterday, I worked on my gaming PC to swap out a fan that had a bearing issue resulting from the power surge. To keep it short: I discovered several issues and questionable connections on this PC, that I bought from company I was refered to. This is on top of still working on fixing the stream PC.

Got armorer to 100 last night and spent over 1mil gil on some crafter gear off the market board. I got the rhythm down and should be able get the other crafters to 100 quick. As for gear: either I pay the HEFTY price off the MB or wait to complete Dawntrail, which Im waiting on my friends. #ffxiv

Not me spending the past two nights in #ffxiv playing Cosmic Exploration and leveling BSM to 100 and getting my cosmic tool upgraded. Now that I got the gist of things... I got some more crafters to grind!

CajunGeek @cajungeek.tv · 18/08/2026

I discovered cosmic exploration in #ffxiv last night and I am HOOKED! Granted, my crafters and gatherers were all lvl 90 when I left in Endwalker. But now I can grind them to 100 BEFORE doing Dawntrail MSQ, and work on the relic tools. Plus... Loporrits!
