Played just over 2 hours before they unleashed their agenda: suddenly I'm looking at interracial gay mamages and hanging with minority trans people in a progressive paradise where it is the norm, as apparently nobody is even surprised by it.

It's an interstate running through Texas. It goes through San Antonio, Austin, Waco, and then when forced to decide whether to go towards Dallas or Fort Worth it splits like that angel from Evangelion to hit both. And it is misery throughout.

A friend of mine said they really liked how the teeth look like chainmail on this one. I can see it. I'm a little torn on how the glaze combination turned out. I'm not against it, I just feel like I could have done a little better.

A textured ceramic plate. The main glaze is a dark gray, and it is ornamented around the edge with a secondary glaze done in thick bars, horizontally and vertically the text describes the glazes as "Black Slip under Opal"

A fired and finished textured ceramic plate. The main color is dark, similar in color and texture to cast iron. Around the edge there are splotches of lighter color, increasing in vibrancy from green to blue to cream.

Oh I have thoughts on this one. The glazes combine in a way that I either really like or really don't like. It's almost chatoyant in parts and the pictures don't do it justice. On the other, that blue around the edges was supposed to be more stable and it clearly decided to run

A textured ceramic plate. The main unfired glaze is a terracotta shade of orange, but the edge is a ring of a very light green. The description calls this, "Olive Green Ash under Transparent Dark Blue"

A fired ceramic plate. The textured center has a creamy yellow color. The outer rim seems more green at parts and more blue and others. As the sides of the plate move towards the textured center, they become a much darker blue.

I may be unhappiest with how the glaze turned out on the first one, but this one takes the shit cake on functionality. When I smoothed out the carving & got rid of the burrs on this, I made it near useless for grating. It'll work, but it's really not good at it. A shame; I actually like the design

So I'm mixed on this one. I actually kind of like how it came out in the end. But it's also one of those things where I'm thinking I might have gone for aesthetics before functionality and those nooks and crannies might make getting the grated garlic or ginger or what have you a bear to remove

The plate is mostly a cream color in it's unfired state, but has a faint reddish hue around the textured center and partially running into the rim. Descriptive text labels this as "Bermuda Celadon w/Iron oxide"

A textured plate in its fired state. The outer edge is a light blue. The inner grating surface is stained dark brown with a slight luster akin to pencil graphite with the iron oxide applied before firing. The surface retains a feathered appearance from the carving done before firing.

Truth be told, I'm actually happiest with this one. I think. The glaze combination came out really good, and although the true blue ash can sometimes end up a little spottier and more matte and rough than I like, this ended up nice and glossy around the rim

The first one I glazed of this set and the last one I got back. Not happy with how it turned out but this one seemed most likely to break in firing so I thought I'd try something wild, even though it came back kind of boring.
